oh my GOD!!!!!! they(01 studios and many others) have said some mods mess around with a certain file, the game deems it suspicious but they only use it for the popup when you load it up for the first time and some other popups

The warning is because the authors want to hide whatever is in their code. So they precompiled it instead of distributing the source like non-suspicious mods. It's completely reasonable for the game to flag that as suspicious. Personally, I also think that's suspicious.

That doesn't necessarily mean there's anything malicious going on, but the game has absolutely no way of knowing that.

I did actually look inside using a decompilation tool, though. The entire mod is in there. Nothing jumps out at me, but I haven't looked at most of the code.
