Bug Report: Creative Start.
When in the Creative Start, to start a new game.
If you attempt to change the player starting ship or any ships involved.
When you go to select which ship, the loader will not reliably display the ships.
Typically showing a black screen where the ship names should be, messing with the filters can sometimes get some but not all of the ships to show up, seems to be just a few.

* Option to not use this for the ship loader is not available, nor do the settings from inside of a game carry over to the menu for a new game. Thus there is no workaround except to disable.

Note: as most people are i am running many mods, but nothing else i have affects this screen and it does work properly inside of a game for me. Just not at the creative start menu.

That sounds strange. I've tested plenty with the creative editor, and I have never had the issue you're describing. In fact it should be disabled if no save is loaded.

Could you provide more info maybe?

Okay I see that a bug makes it default to enabled if there is no player settings to load.
But still no missing ship names.

Understood thank you soo much for your time and i'm sorry i bothered you with this..

it is more than likely a conflicting mod...

Since you put in your time i'll offer some of mine, and if you want i can test out my mods until i figure out exactly which one(s) it is..

Let me know if you want me to, not going to otherwise, it's not a small task to isolate a mod among that many, probably most of a day or more.
( i have alot, probably 100 ish?, recently cut out a bunch too, and it didn't fix it. steam mods and nexus.)

100 mods. auch.
Since I assume it's easy enough to work around by temp disabling the mod or loading a minimal creative game, I don't think you need to bother. You can perhaps just dump the list of names and maybe I can spot something that might conflict.

even just getting it to retain settings at the menu so it doesn't pop up with ships, would be a suitable enough fix.. you don't have to try to fix specific to me..

I found the problem.. it had nothing to do with other mods..
EVERYTHING to do with in game resolution settings.

Any Setting less than 1366x768 Results in the blank display previously mentioned.
This includes upscaling from a resolution lower than that...

If your asking why anyone would do that...
The up-scaling improved quality, while the lower resolution improves FPS considerably..
it's like going from 4fps to 60fps and getting a resolution somewhere in the middle of the lowest and highest... ( AMD feature )


On that note.. CONFIRMED to be working with 7.6 (Beta) of resolution 1366x768 and higher.
