So, I say go for it. Give us everything that would be appropriate to the Torah/Bible/Quran.
I've read 1/3 of the Bible. Cross referencing that with actual history, you realize the original writters meant everything literally. The old testament story of Exodus is obviously written during the iron age. Things like if your brother dies, your supposed to marry his widow, isn't like my local priest once tried to explain it as a values thing, your supposed to support the widow. It's an actual Bronze-Early Iron Age thing with an name, Levirate marriage. The Hittites had laws on this too. I could go on.
My point, if you throw the intended word out the window, what do you have left, interpertations. Thus your asking for the mod to follow a select interpertation. There's lots and lots of them, the mods aim isn't to pick a partisan line. One group will down vote one up vote no matter what line is chosen, just by making this mod someone has disagreed, someone agreed.
Fait accompli.
If the playerbase can reach a consensus, sure let's change it. I just don't see it happening anytime soon.
