Someone suggested on the last version of this that it'd be cool if the Black Pyramid was static, and stayed even if another culture conquers the settlement

As far as I know fancier forestry and dynamic world still work perfectly fine? At least in my campaigns I have no issues at all

I tested this out a bit and it seems to be roughly working. It isn't totally perfect, but is functional. Issue is more around design of their settlements which this mod can't and won't touch. But settlements seem to be switching out for Araby just fine.

My idea is this: a unique appearance for the city of monogods, I mean - in the center of the city of all monogods there is an obelisk, maybe if you can replace it with something that reflects the essence of this god, for example Tzeentch - a large rift in the form of an eye or a totem like the Norscas have, Nurgle is a tree of rot, gradually growing and eventually “blooming”, Khorne is obviously some kind of throne of skulls increasing in size with the level of the city, Slaanesh is a big "Pike" (joke) or tentacle

You have already mentioned something for Skaven which I think would be good but still not sure what would be best.

In the vanilla game mongods have unique decorations when they occupy settlements that is tied to the occupation flags so when they take over a kislev village for example it still looks like the village but theres some god themed effects on it like lava flows for Khorne. Its not tied to corruption as it happens even on provinces with 0 corruption

I'm not sure if something like that could work with skaven so it places warpstone, belltowers etc in the settlement ruins.

I also really like how Mordheim looks in game but that skin wouldn't work for every settlement as not every ruin looks like that. (Tombking and Lizardmen have different ruins for example)

Just thoughts really I've no idea if any of it is possible.

@harktheherald If you plan on working on something like this, ChaosRobie's old world mod with the chaos realms has unique-looking monogod settlements, maybe you could approach him and ask permission for use of those assets?

Would be very nice if a captured settlement would slowly evolve into the appearance of the new owner! As if the inhabitants are working on rebuilding it.
I know this will never happen (no assets) but let me dream...

The WH2 version of this mod's function was able to key off mods for swapping out modded faction settlements. Any possibility of reviewing why the WH3 version is much less compatible with that aspect?

Do you mean for things like OVN's Araby or Nagash Mod? It is hit and miss with those if they work, but Araby works alright from testing. Nagash not so much.

Can't speak for WH2 as I didn't mod that at all. Might look into it at some point, but no plans atm.
