I heard from some people that they were crashing when a map loaded and the solution was to change their armour types or they had some other mod subscribed that modified armour which caused the issue.

It's hard for me to diagnose the problem as I don't have any armour unlocked and can't experiment to try and recreate the crash people talk about.

But people have said having default armour or just changing it to something else seemed to fix it.

I can confirm that resetting my armour to default has allowed me to load into at least Valley - Trooper. Haven't tested on any other maps yet.

boid you can check the customize permutation tags to set the permutation to the default only for your model

me and my friend have a similar issue though its a bit weird as the host doesn't crash but the person joining get the error.

This happens to a small amount of people every time I release an update.
I assume it's because Steam is not downloading the update for some people or maybe one person has new 343 armour that causes the mod to crash.


Try resubscribing the mod and restarting Steam.
Double check everyone's Spartan armour does not include the new 343 armour pieces.
and maybe set your visor colour to default just to be safe.
