I'm using performance fix with this submarine, and I still can't use the gun on the drone even with both item lists included

@SMS Novara that’s strange… if you added those items to the correct lists the drone should definitely work properly. Did you make sure to click the save config button after editing the lists? If it was on a server you’d also need to restart or use reloadlua command.

This fix worked for me. However, I STRONGLY suggest players be careful of not doubling up any of the items listed here.

Some of these are already added by default to the mod, and once you hit save for the config, you will not be able to load any saves, join any games, or load any subs in the editor. You also will be unable to use the performancefix command to bring the GUI up to remove the duplicates. The only fix is to open sub editor, as then you can hit esc with the Performance Fix button.

Ran into this issue and took me roughly an hour to figure out this work around.

Just press Esc while in-game or in a server lobby and there will be a Performance Fix button in the menu popup. Make sure you only edit the 2 lists labelled Client and Server High Priority Items. Don't touch the High Priority Components lists, as that could crash the game. And remember to press the save config button when you're done.

Would it be okay to play on this sub without adding this to performance settings?

I have these config added to performance settings properly but with a lot of other mods installed, the game lags really bad.

It performs fine though when you don't add these items to performance settings, I assume that's because it just makes the circuitry not work

In that case, would I only miss out on advanced features on the sub, it would still be able to play okay?

@Minty75 yes most things will work without the config changes, except for the drone. I can't remember if it affects the auto-charging batteries and the ARC or not. But the basic functions should be fine.

Ah okay thanks. Batteries and reactor won't be a dealbreaker since that can be handled. It's still the best interior-designed sub on the workshop.

I'll just undock the drone since this is the only thing that won't work without a performance settings change.
