There's a "clean" version of furniture's sprite, usually with no items on it or in it. It's labeled as "Default", it's always the last in a list.
So, if you choose the default sprite in the first time, nothing happens, the furniture's sprite doesn't change. But if you first choose a different option (not default), and after that you choose default, then the furniture will take the default sprite.
In other words, if you want to change a furniture's sprite to a default one, you have to firstly pick a non-default option, and only then pick default.
You can as well pick default in the first time, see that nothing changed, then pick some other option and after that pick default again, and that way the furniture's sprite will actually turn into the default one.
Not sure if this is a bug but this is what catched my attention.
