So it's pretty simple. You will want to go to Eden Editor, place down as many playable units (slots) as you want, then place down the RIS game mode module. After that, save the mission, go to your documents folder, click Arma 3 - other profiles>click the folder with your arma 3 profile name that you used to make the mission> click missions> then find the folder with the same name as the mission you just created. Once there, you will then create a text document called Description.ext and then copy and paste the box of code from the workshop page. Make sure to save the changes to the text document. Then host the mission. Let me know if you need more help.

When loading into a multiplayer game, my friend does not see the game mode selection screen. I have a mode selection displayed but my friend only has a character and no mode selection, his character can't move or look around.

Yea, only the admin or the person hosting the mission will have the game mode selection screen. Also apologies for the late response.

Everything is done according to the guide, but the multiplayer does not work. A friend cannot move or vote for a card. The mission begins, but my friend stays far away and cannot respawn

Yeah my friend isnt able to move around at all even after starting the mission and ive followed these instructions. Will this be fixed soon?

Did someone managed to find a solution for the mp problem? I've been trying to play and the exact same thing happens here.

Same issue. Went in editor, random map, put three playable units down, put the RIS module. Saved the map, uploaded the custom description txt into the mission folder.

Open the editor, open the mission, scenario / multiplayer hosted over lan, play

screen opens and we all select a role, launch the server, select the RIS mission type on my screen, launch mission.

My player loads into the game, the other players load into the map / location that the game was saved in on the editor, and are frozen unable to move.
