Stuck on "you're dead" screen for several minutes without respawn
I've encountered an issue where randomly when I die the screen gets stuck on the "you're" dead screen and I am not able to respawn. It happens randomly, sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. Anyone else having this issue? Could it be a bug?

I know this is kinda late but I took a break from arma for a while and just started having this bug. I searched everywhere for a fix and cant find it. Did you ever end up fixing it? I'd really appreciate the help

Sadly was never able to find a fix. The dev is aware of this issue but is yet to fix it. So I just enable God mode using single player cheat mod to prevent dying so that I don't encounter the respawn bug.

you can use possession mod so if u die you just take another ai its perfect

yes when u die it switch u to another ai unit it doesnt break the objective

I subscribed but it seems nothing happens when I die it just uses the RIS spawning system

try pressing u to switch to playable unit then open map and press tab and you will see be able to click on big blue markers in map and take that unit
