It seems that this problem is caused by Mr Overfloaters abandoned Thermo King mod which he stopped supporting at V1.43. I have had a look and it seems to be a missing "/" in a path for something that is causing the issue. There are many comments on the mod in the Steam Workshop citing the same problem so I think it is a problem with his outdated and unsupported mod. Try asking Mr Overfloater to update the mod because it is very nice.
I cannot recreate the 'black' problem described, if anyone finds out why then please let me know.
