Planetary Drone Harvesters
Do they still exist in RE2? I also see references to M2 star systems to look for Hell and Midnight planets that are supposed to have them, but searching the galaxy map for the M2 type shows a total blank. And all of the Hell planets I have visited in neutral space have no drones at all. Maybe just need to keep looking?

Nope. They are space-only in RE2.

Ahhh, thanks. I guess my CV will need to suck less in order to survive in drone space!
