Quest Make contact with terran forces
The quest state is find the elevator, approach captain and speak with captain. neither approach or speak with captain work when i talk to the blonde at the uch station, does anyone know how I can trigger this am I missing something

Did you activate it after you got to the UCH ship or before? This quest MUST be activated BEFORE travelling to the sector where the UCH ship is located. If you've travelled there first, and then activated it, it does not work, and you have to leave the sector, and travel back.

Try deactivating the mission then reactivating it.
