Ghyst Military Bunker
First off I'd like to say that this was an excellent challenge and overall very well crafted and fun - I particularly liked the ending (no spoilers). I'm so impressed with the effort put in to this scenario and I have so much respect and for the people working on it.

With that said, I have a couple of things which I'd like to get off my chest.

Firstly - The whole structure was indestructible except for the turrets and shield. I wasted considerable amounts of time and ammo before realising that my shots were doing nothing to the window I'd targeted. Now I know fully why this was the case, the POI is a standalone quest and cheese tactics would spoil it. That's not my issue.
My issue was that there was nothing to tell me that my normal tactics would not work. Some sort of information to the player would massively improve the experience. I'm aware that hovering a multitool over foundation blocks reveals that they are indestructible - could something similar be applied to the bunker?

Secondly - the rewards. This was a serious challenge. Not only did I need to expend considerable time and resources making the bunker safe to enter, I then had to fight for every inch within it until the very end. It was fun to be sure, but then the loot was severely underwhelming for the level of challenge and time investment. Even counting for the salvage afterwards. Perhaps I missed something (I'd appreciate someone telling me if I did) But I got no rare commodities such as data cores, quantum processors, reactor cores or anything that would help me to build 'end game' CPU's or weapons.

Even relatively easy POI's yield a couple of quantum processors - I really thought there'd be a bigger score from this.

Anyway, I couldn't find any info here about what loot is normal for the Ghyst military bunker but I was really disappointed with the loot I found.

For the indestructible blocks, it has an admin icon on the map.

What does the icon look like?

Two inverted chevrons - like any other admin core based POI.

Check the pda. It explains it all in there and shows the icons.

The Ghyst Military Bunker is a Tier 4 POI. It guarantees multiple quantum computer lootboxes as well as legacy bioboxes, and has probably the second largest amount of loot of any zirax POI.

I don't understand then, because despite the large number of biopods in the last area, none of them had anything decent. I admit I have a hard time identifying the quantum computers that normally yield a couple of Q-processors but honestly, I found nothing top-tier in any of the loot containers. I even used a salvage core to look for everything, but no luck

Am I understanding correctly that any POI with admin cores shows up on the map with the chevrons marker?

Yes please check the Empyriopedia or see the link I posted above.

Sticking a core in a POI will never find loot boxes since they don't appear in the control panel or logistics menu, like most deco containers.
Quantum Computers can be found in B2 in the observation room into the Legacy section; Bioboxes can be found (iirc) in the side rooms off the boss room... or in the wall behind the boss.

Thanks - I knew that loot boxes per se don't show up with salvage cores (although bio containers DO). I can never tell the difference between a regular steel wall and the quantum computers!

You mentioned Quantum computers - plural. I've only found one?

1 way to find loot boxes is to place your own core then as you loot containers salvage them then when you look at the statistics it will list how many cargo containers there are if you have salvaged all known containers then hidden loot boxes are all that's left. the counts can be weird they also seem to include anything that holds something as a container cupboards for instance.

Good to know, thanks.

Wow, I never knew that! Thanks!!
I usually take apart entire POIs with my multitool out of paranoia I might have missed something XD

btw: the first time I managed to do that POI after a long and hard fight, while I was looting I accidentally slept in a bed. This triggered an instant base attack. Because the POI is so massive and still had most of the turrets, it was a huge one with dozens of troop transports. And because the POI didn't actually have the CPU/power stats (or the corresponding ammo) for me to power up the turrets, they did nothing for me - but of course when the Zirax took the POI back, they instantly came online and tore through my CV that was parked next to it.... RIP....

The lesson: always take off the turrets first XD

Also (probably because there were still Zirax swarming the place) the core I had placed and that was now theirs, always came back almost instantly when I destroyed it.

If you want to sleep remove your core first then sleep in your tent or CV
