Mining asteroids? What do you mean by mining asteroids? Please use the actual name for the POI. There's literally dozens of asteroid stations.

Check the Change Notes for any changes to POI spawning (there weren't any removed).

I could buy Zascosium and Erestrum Ingots there, but they seem to be gone, searched 3 systems already.

I think you can buy Z and E at most trading stations. There is one trader that buys and sells ingots. I have bought platinum there before when I was in a pinch. There are limited quantities though.

Alloy synthesis is gone from RE2 ( according to the traders list on Empyrion buddy at least....) You can buy some quite significant quantities of ingots Inc Zascsium, from MA CORP at most Trading stations but NOT the basic ones that start with CZ....

The name of the trading station will be some ting like 'Trading Station CZxxxxx". There are a lot of them in the starter systems for example. There are also trading stations that are styled CBXXXN those do have MA CORP traders, along with Trading stations Iota in space (they have other names, but the stations that are shown on the system map9

Ah yes like mentioned the alloy synthesis POI was removed from RE2 a long time ago.
