Yup. And you can also ransom freighters for money once you are I believe neutral with the pirate faction.

Thank you so much for that. I had done the ransom mission before and I couldn't remember how I had managed it. I've been recording a Lets Play for YouTube for 9 episodes now on how to play as a pirate, so imagine my surprise when I went to start the actual missions after getting a capable CV off the ground, only to find I couldn't actually start them lol.

So I guess there won't be episode 10 ? :D

I was "honored" with the pirates by killing xirax. I just declared war with the pirates to see if I can get honored with the zirax by killing pirates, because... why not?

Oh, there will be an episode 10. I'm recording it tonight actually. I spent the day on Rogue circling the crashed transport and manufacturing rounds for my thirsty gats. I'm now exactly one point over 12000 with the pirates, so things are just about to get juicy :D
