I've seen that some people have managed to attach this repair platform to the ship or with modular ships that then simply repair the large CV on the fly. I think that's pretty sick when you consider that the idea behind Shield Penetration is probably that you don't always just fly into a fight without risk and you have to repair yourself on the fly. But if people just slap ships like that on their CV, I think the principle behind shield penetration is also invalid. I mean, it's supposed to be a little challenge, but it's no longer a challenge. You can just throw out the drones (space), fix your ship and continue the fight. (Provided you have removed or shot away the engines from the enemy ship)
