Manual Downloading
I can't get this to download by subscribing, I don't know what's wrong. all my other subscribtions work.

Would it be possible to just post a download link here, so I can manually install this

I have the same problem, It seems that steam does not write the mod info into Civ's Database correctly. Just delete this file (C:\Users\ "UserName" \Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache\Civ5ModsDatabase.db) and subscrible the mod once more. Then after restarting the game u may find the mod in mod menu.

Didn't work for me. :( But then, none of my Civ5 mods will download from the workshop right now. Running on Ubuntu 14.04. I can make mods work, they just won't download from the workshop. Would love to see this uploaded to the civfanatics forum! :)

Worked like a charm. Also fixed some other mod subscritiptions that were previously not updated.

Have you tried to uninstall or reinstall the mod(s)? If that does not work, I would suggest verifying the games cache.

I would suggest looking around in the community. There are a few different things you can try. I am afraid that this page is too old to get any better replies than what are listed above.

Mod claims to be enabled, but Gabe's not showing up anywhere in the leaders selection screen. Did the steps and it didn't work. Help?

This is also happening to me
Edit: This is no longer happening to me.

After deleting the database, I unsubscribed and subscribed back each of my mods, just in case.
