He will have a super based off of max heat called overcharge giving him more powerful versions of some of the moves he already has. And an electrical aura similar to cowboys 1000 cuts.
sounds sweet! Hyped for when it gets implemented
I find the damage that Pupil does in general to be too high. When messing around in replays the fight ends too fast before I can do much cool stuff.
Now for the overheat mechanic I never really found it to be that challenging to balance the heat gauge despite not being very good. I think Pupil would benefit with more risk.
His melee also feels way too strong for a zoner, but that also ties back into damage. When I play Pupil it feels like I am being a strong melee rushdown that occasionally uses disjoints and not a zoner. I think it is because combos for melee is easy and combos for zoning or mixed zoning isn't really practical outside of the disjoints. I would like to see more viable combos that uses zoning.
In summary I think the identity of the fighter is split in 2 and that there isn't enough interaction between the 2 modes.
With that being said I really like the character and I really hope he turns out well
