Balancing
To be fair, i never actually "played" with those guns, outside of shooting walls and random npcs soo

After playing some battlefield i feel like ttk of polyarms is too fast, making anything fast firing ultra op

I've tried setting damage multiplier as low as 0.5x and i feel like this made all auto guns be more fair by increasing ttk from 1ms to something higher (although this made sniper rifles be horrid as they were balanced with player health pool in mind)
Giant spread increase is something I'd look into too

So i want you (as someone who actually plays gmod) to play around with various modifiers (try 0.5x dmg!) and share your experience and which settings are best for you! (btw keep in mind most of standard npcs have 40-70hp instead of 100 in player)

You can also share feedback about all kind of stats here, maybe you don't like damage falloff, high spread, high recoil, not enough recoil, maybe some attachment is too op or too useless? :pawcat:

I think the damage fall of for shotgun is a little bit too much and made them not fun to use at all (Especially in PVE gamemode like Map sweeper)
other than that I think everything else is fine
My personal opinion with pvp and PvE, pump shotguns and spas 12 weren't effective enough to be viable in some situations before the update, now they're pretty usable.
Smgs rip people in two way too quickly since all it takes sometimes is a good burst to the head to deal with someone

Another thing I would like to add, with some low velocity rounds I feel like bullet drop isn't as aggressive as I'd like, I would like to actually have to use the rangle finder ok the scope calibrated for 9x39, just my preference tho

Personally, I think that damage is a bit *low* across the board. It feels weird to me that SMGs do 20-25 damage while an AK only does 34. In terms of damage, most weapons feel pretty much the same (Except the battle rifles, the MG, and the snipers, those feel great!). And because of movement penalties and weapon length, most assault rifles feel flatly worse than the SMGs. Upping the numbers of the AR, AK, etc. by 4-8 or so might make using them more worthwhile. Saying that, I do mostly PvP and PvE against bosses, so movement is a lot more important for me than it might be others.

The shotguns are a lot better since the most recent update, they were pretty much useless before. Still, I feel like having their aim cones be a few degrees tighter would be nice. Also, please remove the inaccuracy penalty in semi-auto for the SPAS! It's so weird that changing how the shells cycle ruins your spread patterns. Makes hitting those velociraptors so much harder...

damage is low? ttk is like 100ms, i was planning on lowering damage twice lol
Could the lever action get some more range? It seems kinda outclassed by the giant revolver.

please remove clump spread
it makes the shotguns really unusable and unrealistic, and very inconsistent.

Clump spread is a arc9 setting, not polyarms setting

Specific guns use the clump spread feature and polyarms is one of them
And it makes it so it is the default shotgun spread modifier, so making spread higher or lower wont affect the shotgun clump spread whatsoever, and if you want to turn clump spread off: theres no super modifier, only the slider in settings, and if you set it to zero, it makes your shotguns way too accurate
Another thing for the lever action, shouldnt the long barrel increase its range too, not just its damage?

to a certain extent that's actually more realistic
I just noticed, Shotguns do maximum damage to the TORSO, not the head.
And yeah, the extended RZ appears to just outclass the marlin outside of persision
