Big games do that because of legal reasons

I do this because its more creative and fun, plus weapons aren't straight copy of real ones
For example AK-103 here is just AK because user can customize it with ANY existing ak platform rifles and attachments, not only 103

It's just more fun and silly than boring irl names, real names also sometimes long and nerdy (same also about "realism" guns, this pack is stylised and fun to use unlike eft)

Nice argument, and yeah i didint think about the AK, ig is not my favorite weapon, atleast the names can still be reminded easily, i seen some game with almost 50 guns per category, each one with very very annoying and forgettable name

PS, pretty nice mod, im new to ARC9, i was kind of a old ArcCW player, is nice to see a much polished version of these mods, keep up the good work mate

Yeah memorability of names is important too, short silly names better than irl military designations

Я вмешаюсь, вы тут на пендосском шпрэхаете, но в АРК9 базе есть настройка на настоящие названия пушек, её же можно отключать/включать и т.п. Почему бы не сделать вариант с реальными названиями оружия для военных задротов, а кого устраивает твой вариант, пусть останется

Этот пак далековат от "реализма", задроты и так смогут понять что такое калаш
