But - always a but - it seems crafting one of the Boomer items locks out the other one. The guy at the society doesn't let you get another one. It makes sense in retrospect, but I just went ahead and crafted the shield thinking I could go back and he'd go "Welp, there's no item in your inventory, want one?" A notice some where in the NPC might help with that, even in the like "Could you elaborate?" dialogue. Or a chest with both of them in the room with the guy
On a more positive note, once I noticed the Executioner it has not been unequipped from my caster. I dunno how you feel about that for balance? I have infinity mana with very little trade off for damage. I like it overall, and it's end game so coasting through encounters isn't a big issue, but I've just fully not been considering equipping anything else except for bosses.
Depending on what caster it was, that may actually have been fully intentional: it's aimed first and foremost at Shaman's odd ability to equip Axes. That it eclipses alternatives that much is less intentional, but stems from me having had a poorer understanding of the game's balance when the mod was still in active development; I'd thought it only restoring resources on kill made it less attractive overall - though I suppose this sweeper weapon identity is acceptable, seeing how much of the rest of the game is boss-centric by the time you get it.
