Like a decrease in immunity gain speed while having low variety or an increase at high levels of variety? Just to provide some additional challenge.
"I had otter meat, wolf meat, and venison, minced with hare meat. It was very diverse!" ;-)
To be honest, I am currently selectively hunting diverse animals during winter. A doe here, a hare there, then a turkey, then a wolf, followed by a boar, andsoon...
Of course, nothing wrong about eating diverse meat, I would certainly be bored to eat venison all the day long, but in reality, I would also need to pair it with fruits and veggies.
In winter, there should be the challenge to get enough vegetables and fruits, even if hard to get (that's the fun about the winter!), by collecting and storing vegetables and fruits properly during summer, drying or canning it, and/or consider buying fruits and vegetables with your precious money just to get over winter healthy.
On the plus side, eating regularly both meat and vegetables/fruits could give you an immunity boost. ("well fed" immunity boost)
And do you have a Ko-Fi ?
To only eat survival meals if there's no other alternative.
Is it a mod you are using that allows you to have caravan policies? Otherwise if you mean manually switching pawns policies for those in a caravan.. it isn't practical at all.
How I have it now is by using the Locks mod I created a tiny closet near the kitchen where my cooks store the survival meals, and only them have access to it.
