Editing start positions
Was about to comment this on the main page, but didn't want to clutter it up with my nagging about wanting to tailor the mod to my wishes, which I wouldn't want to bother the owner about. I would like to edit some of the faction starting locations, particularly some of the Irish factions starting the campaign having ahistorical settlements in scotland and england. I was wondering if anyone knew which files I would need to edit for this and how I would go about it (if possible).

Modify the file descr_strat.txt in data\world\maps\campaign\arthurian_campaign.

There's tons of tutorials out there online that explain how to modify descr_strat.

OK, I'm at a loss after sinking several hours over a few days into this. I was hoping this was as easy as just assigning new owners in the file, but it obviously isn't. I tried moving Ynis_Mon settlement details from under Ui Niell to Rebels in the file you mentioned and nothing changed when I started a new game. I've looked and didn't find any online tutorials to do what I am trying to do. Do you have a particular tutorial/video you recommend?

I'm afraid not. I'm not practiced at modding unless the answer is simple text switching. As I described above, I tried moving the text within the file from Ui Niell to the Rebels section, but it made no effect when I started a new game. I tried a few times more with no success and gave up, as I cannot find any tutorials that explicitly state how to do this.

@angpetru I see what you mean, you moved the settlement block from Ui Neill to Rebels right? If you do that, you also have to move the army stack that is garrisoned in that settlement.
