Siege pathfinding issues for defenders
During sieges ( bretonnian castles ) defender reinforcements headed for some walls will do ludicrous sorties, in front of enemy shooters, and will suicidally rush into the mass of enemies to compete for the ladders, as i guess going this way was probably slightly shorter in distance than using the stairs and detours of the medieval city.

I imagine, if it's possible to code the ladders for defenders as unusable, or with a distance multiplier so it's not the favoured path unless they're already at the bottom of it might be fixes ?

Automatically installed with Steam too, and on a fresh game reinstall, so should be clean.

Battleplan: Unit II & III, on the walls. Zero order given during the battle.

Once the door has been broken by the Ram, after some time, reinforcements for III decide ( i know they're undead and therefore not prone to brilliant self initiatives, but still )

I'm pretty sure i saw one wave to the enemy column that was crossing the other way.
Joke aside, reinforcements for the II sector, left wing wall, also taking a stroll outside.

Between that and the vampires blasting 50 skeletons to kill a pair of Empire troopers, let's say the battle was rich in unnecessary undead casualties.

Did the enemy have anything to siege the walls? If not then the units there will automatically leave

Two pairs of ladders under II and III ( i believe it's by default ? ) with which they proceeded to storm the walls. And which my troops decided to compete for and climb !
In terms of siege constructions, the attackers just had the Ram.

The Settlement was Hautmont, but i believe Gisoreux nearby has the same setting; i assumed it was the standard for bretonnian castles.

(Albion is the name given to the british isles in the WH universe, just like Bretonnia is France. Was just making a wink to the setting. )

Ah like that, i thought you meant a translation submod :p

Only other thing i can think of is downgrading your game version to 1.2.11 but that will also reset your shader cache and i dont think its compatible with a 1.2.12 save

One last question, if i may: do you plan to allow spells to damage siege engines ? Dropped a casadora comet on the ram, and didn't see any damage displayed, same with a fireball ( the rocks stockpiled in the tower indicate the 300 dmg range when dropped on said ram ).

Can't say for sure atm, it would make sense, but also be rather OP for some careers
