Just downloaded the mod today and loving it so far! I am running into an issue though where my keybindings for swap weapon and swap shield are getting reverted to default any time I cast a spell? For reference I usually swap these to buttons on my mouse instead of the wheel, but whenever I bring up the casting menu with Q it seems to reset them. Didn't see anything about that in the known issues page, anyone else see this before? It's honestly not a big problem, just awkward to cast a spell then sucker punch the beastman I meant to stab with a spear lol

@Herr°Lindstrom Are you sure you changed the correct setting? For some reason many people mistake texture quality for terrain quality.

Thats the only known d3d crash when trying to enter the old world, please double check.

Did all the work to try and fix the d3d error still no luck. crashed with the same line. I am devastated T_T Worked a muddy and crusty day in drywall taping and just wanted to come home and slay some undead dudes. The Taleworld gods deny me my chill game time tonight. I must have blasphemed

Yup i followed install instructions to a T and I still get an error when I click to start a new game. It reads like this:
"rglGPU_device::create_texture_array failed ad d3d_device_->CreateTexture2D! The parameter is incorrect."

Not sure if that's any help or what that means. This is after deleting the shader folders in the programdata folder. I'm so confused X_X

If your game is frozen on startup, you can wait a LONG time, or follow the steps above. Loaded in 5 seconds literely.

Ok I got the mod downloaded and correct older version of Harmony working after unblocking its files properties. Loaded to the main menu without issue (Hooray!) however when I tried to start a new game it crashed. I cant Remember what failed to load I think it was some sort of texture? This is all done with a fresh and clean Bannerlord install so I'm confused. Maybe I need to delete the Shader Cache in the Programdata folder? I'll check back if that works but I didnt think it would matter since I've no other mods and just installed Bannerlord in anticipation for Warsails

Is there a comprehensive guide to all the careers that is updated? I found one here but it doesnt really go that in depht like for example there is a mention of witch hunter retinues but no instructions on how to recruit them and what units are available.

@simvol.87 No intention to do that, its also a bug you remain merc class, he should switch to a magister class when taking magic.

Hi, is it possible to add the ability to restore magic winds when wearing heavy armor to the Mercenary profession?
The Mercenary may be a transitional class, but it is still a versatile class.

Well if you're a kingdom growth has to be slow or stagnant or you going to have chaos take over the city's that can'tbe managed. Leading to a number of chaos characters you can't get rid of without suffering a penalty.
It means your characters will be limited if you get to big or eventually be outnumbered by the smallest faction simply because it's the weakest.
It's predictable. Where You either have to be the weakest starting faction or join the weakest to have the best advantage later on.
It doesn't make sense why someone like these characters can't talk other members of their culture to join them in their faction. etc.

Im not sure what the problem is? The clans from a defeated kingdom will join the same culture weakest kingdom. Thats how it works and wont change.

You said once you defeat a faction their members would join the weakest one of the same culture. Kinda hurts bigger ones that need more people to keep chaos popping up and makes them easy pickings for everone else. Especially since talking characters over is disabled and executing chaos comes with a penalty.
As well as little unbalanced since the characters maintain their recruitment capacity. So the smallest faction close to the end will have three times the armies running around.
Making it random where they go makes the dynamic unpredictable every time you load a new game. Because you never know which party is going to get what members.

I'm late had to sleep and work but to go back to the balancing thing I brought up. I understand thats how they recruit but they aren't good recruits or armies. I beat an army of over five hundred with just 164 because they were mostly peasants. Due to them recruiting so close to the base they spawed back to. It was just easy.
Factions going to the smallest hurts other large a.i factions to as it just makes them glass cannons. If they get hit from two sides or you take out their first two armies their done as well. It's not very challenging.

I join the Leader of the scribe counts party as a sell sword. We find someone to attack and when i join the battle it immediately crashes.

Hey having an issue where game crashes after completing first player round of tournament as Wood Elf. Happened at multiple wood elf settlement tournaments. Not sure if its a conflict or something just wanted to see if anyone else has this issue? Been a great mod otherwise and loving it.

Even if it was, what about the other factions that can't reproduce then? They'd just age and die off.

But afaik no, the entire birth and aging module is hardcoded and can't be modded.

@Mega Zord Even without settlements they can recruit from non hostile villages though, and its not harder for the player, same as in vanilla.

@Greenskin Supremacist Greenskins is also part of our next update along with dwarfs. Both have been showcased in our moddb devblogs
