i would certainly hope, with and without the Diplomacy mod (though i would say *with* Diplomacy its far worse) the Vampire Counts ally with Mousillon when its enabled but they do not show up in time to help, at the cost of basically every Dukedom allying with each other to jump Mousillon
but still, i hope that after the new update Mousillon will get some kind of power boost if not just some breathing room for more than a season
Try to get some Vampire Compagnions from Sylvania, make sure that they have the Spellcasting Perk, with -30% Friendly Fire (re-skill in the arena), put them in their own Group and place them into a good spot while defending on the Siege. Maybe they can break their moral. Also you can use the rocks and catapult ammo for some serious AoE Damage by yourself, when they are at the wall.
this is true, the issue is the sieges are constant, and even with Improvisation i lose plenty of my high tier units with each Break Through into the settlement and even when i do the trick of sniping down siege engines there's large armies waiting right outside to pick up the siege or catch me as i leave
also unfortunately Spellcaster AI do seem to be bit... dumb, slinging spells wildly most of the time and doing plenty of friendly fire, though my Mousillon Necromancers (shoutout to Joel the Necromancer) do plenty of fine work with summon hordes of skeletons to supplement my infantry in more evenly matched battles
It's similar to Eonir. If the surrounding Bretonnian/Empire factions decide to pile up, it's over.
Yeah, i know. I think they've got the blues and looked way too deep into the bottle :P
You could also just take any mercenary contract, to set yourself up. Then end the contract and build your own Mousillon empire. You have the cultural Background at least. Every conquered Settlement will change to your base-culture. Also you are able to convert Bretonian Knights to Mousillon Knights via the Skilltree.
this is also true! i will have to take up the mantle of the Serpent it seems unless the update comes out right now, so we'll see how that goes, hopefully better than the original Mousillon
