(Suggestion) Intel Mod Options
Enjoying the mod, but I find intel too easy to generate which makes nearly everything offered from deserters free. It also takes incentive away from doing dangerous quests, as I can easily generate the intel in a couple of scraper pulses.

Please consider adding some mod options:
  • Intel generation cap per pulse from scraper
  • Critical Intel chance from pulse from scraper (%)
  • No resources from scraper on destruction? (bool) (Getting Deserter Declassifier back just feels silly)
  • Empire retaliation chance from scraping (%)

Not sure if this would be a mod option, but the 1 critical intel "Fake invitation" assassination makes it easy to cheese the mod. I would love to up the cost to something like 4 or 5 critical intel.

I've been digging through the mod's XML (not a modder nor xml expert by any means).

  • Intel + Critical generation cap: No defined setting in Buildings_Special.xml
  • Empire retaliation chance from scraping (%): Looked in a few files, unsure where it'd be located
  • Increasing "False Invitation" cost: Seems to just be a bool whether or not a critical intel is needed. Unsure how to increase the cost.

Oddly, according to the xml the burnout scraper isn't supposed to drop a Deserter Declassifier.
I did find out how to dramatically increase the Burnout Scraper's cost, so that'll do for now!

Wait how the heck are you getting intel without needing intel to buy the item that you need to build the thing that gives you intel?

Is there some magical trick to getting intel that I don't know about?

You need 5 intel for the item. Just finish 1 intel quest that you get randomly, then purchase the item. Build the thing, get 40 intel from it and invest in more of em. STONKS.
