another bug i encounter is louis(or any of the other bots) would constantly switch between the med/defib unit with the primary weapon and they dont shoot at all unless you swap to them

Remove both of these addons, you don't need it and not to mention it is giving you all the weird survivor bot behavior bugs that you are encountering. Instead, follow this Guide I have wrote in order to stop your game from crashing. Follow all the steps in my guide perfectly and I bet that the survivor bots will perform better than your current configuration. If that fail however, try to set "Paged Pool Memory Available" in your L4D2 setting to low, since downloading a lot of addons will cause your game to be more crash-prone.

If you haven't downloaded the latest version of the 8 Bots Survivors, you might want to give it a try since I recall that the previous version could crash the game as soon as you launch a campaign. However, you would have to uninstall your 8 Bots Survivors sourcemod plugin first before you replace it with the new one. Otherwise, the most drastic thing you could do is to do a complete uninstall and delete the L4D2 game itself before reinstalling the game, along with all your favourite plugins since I don't know what other plugin you have that could be causing the problem (I cannot access your webpage link since it redirect me to a error page).

Edit: I just realized you have L4B1 installed as well, remove it if you haven't already since you don't want to mix it with the L4B2 addon.

Did that and it seems like this is a thing for certain custom campaigns, oh well its another one of source's problem :/

it should not be the "bot ai improvement" mod having these issues. as an example, i am using it and it compliments Left 4 bots 2 quite well since bots will crouch to shoot far away zombies, saving them a LOT and i mean a LOT on ammo

i myself have had no issues with it so i believe that mod should be fine for them to use. have not tested the merciles survivors though

i use both of these addons along with left 4 bots 1 for a pretty lengthy amount of time
and the dev for merciless bots updates his mod from time to time so i guess its just that l4bot2 is too new for merciless bots
but from what i can tell both L4b2 and merciless bot has settings to edit the bot aggressiveness so i would assume that the crash would be coming from that

I didn't know that Bots AI Improvement have just been recently updated (oopsie!). I will give this addon a try and update my guide once I have found a most optimal setting for it.
