Slightly nerfing the bot's aim?
I want to make the bots aim a bit slower, or less accurately.

I've tried setting
manual_attack_saccade_speed
to 200 under the assumption it'd accomplish this, but I'm not sure if it did anything. Even setting it quite high (~1000+) and the results seem the same. The bots perform identically, afaia.

Is there something I could be missing?

is manual_attack_always 1?

Nope, its 0. Enabling always attack seems to make them even *more* hyper-capable of killing everything, and I'm trying to make them less so :winter2019sadyul:
manual_attack_saccade_speed only affects manual attack related things, check ur convars.txt

Of course -- I've tested with always manual on & off. But speed 20 vs 20,000 and the results don't seem different even w/ always manual turned on.

I guess a better question would be 'are there settings to make the bots similar to vanilla l4d in terms of common infected shooting?'

What would I be checking for in convars.txt?
commands that have "saccade" in them

I need the answer to this too, they murder literally everything. I don't need to do anything at all, hell i've tried the bots in hard 16, guess what. They shred every special within seconds. (That was with manual_attack_always set to 1, with the manual_attack_skill also being 1 which is the lowest) The bots are still bad, their aim is what makes up for how bad the bots are. Cloest thing to normal bot aim that i know of is manual_attack_always set to 0. The normal bots sometimes have aimbot too, it's a 50/50 whether they just stare and watch you die, or literally instakill a smoker that's up in the mountains hiding in a bush.
