Kinda just a quirk of the mod. Some enemy locations are too small, cramped, densely populated, etc. and so when it spawns in a new vehicle, it clips with surrounding objects, causing it to explode. No known fix, that I know of. I just count it as a blessing, since it usually kills a good amount of garrisoned units XD
