I'm new to the mod, giving it a try. EoC spawns. Touches me. Deals 190 damage. Instant death.

What the hell, I'm only in expert mode, is that supposed to be normal?!?

We don't even have mobility before getting the shield of cthulhu and its dash, how are we supposed to manage to dodge?!?

Edit: second attempt, I had a summon eye in stock. 143 damage. Two-shot to death. OK, I don't have high armor, 9 or 10 def. But even then, seriously, is that normal for the mod?!?
