Same issue with the Mosquito and assuming other air vehicles

I think I know how fix somehow when it doesn't work you need to save the world then go menu and then go back your worl, then you can use air vehicle to come back to base.

Did you ever find out the proper way?
Seems to still be an issue half a year later.
The only reason I got the mod was for the reusable pods (Frog and Toad), but it seems they still just land/sit at edge of map when you caravan back to the colony.

The creator of the framework decided to cut off all communication on steam, so there's no way besides joining some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ discord server for 1 simple question after which never to need the server again, so the only place people got is here.
