i'll not put the whole thing this time, just the numbers
and
Offices at level 3, 92 brokers and banks at level 3, specifically.
I saw the code and it doesn't make a difference, but just to be sure to have all the necessary information.
And says it's "[...] in slowly falling mode now." however, by looking at the graph, it's clearly rising, and no, it's not those little peaks while slow/fast falling, it's been rising for multiple minutes!
Like, is there a place in my computer where CookiStocker 2 saves logs from purchasing and selling stocks?
The mod will usual buy a stock if it changes to a rising mode from a neutral or falling mode.
You can create a log by turning on the console output and then saving it when you're done. Instructions on turning on the console output can be found in the CookiStocker Steam Guide. You can also read a lot more about the console output in the discussion thread New Changes and Additions to the Console Output. I highly recommend using the console output, as it will tell you in great detail what is happening with the mod.
It sound to me like your biggest problem is that you don't have enough cookies in you bank to allow the mod to work properly. This would account for purchases of only one cookie at a time. It would also explain why the mod didn't buy stocks under $2 (which it normally should always do); you just didn't have the cookies to pay for them.
You also need a reasonable number of brokers so that you don't get eaten alive by commissions. I recommend at least 100, and I wouldn't use the mod before I had at least 80.
Finally, please read the CookiStocker Steam Guide thoroughly. It has many more details on how to play for maximal profit, and what the profit numbers actually mean.
To give you an idea of what is easily possible, here's my current runtime[imgur.com] from the General section of the Statistics pagefollowed by my current profit. (Please forgive the indirect links to the pictures; there's no way that I know of to include them directly in Discussion pages.
Note that this profit is more than twice as much as the amount required for Gaseous Assets.
My private version of CookiStocker 2 has a configurable statistics section,[imgur.com] which allows you to see what's going on without having to go through the entire console output. This will be included in the next release of CookiStocker 2.0, which hopefully is coming soon.
If after all this, you still think that CookiStocker 2 isn't working properly, please run a session for at least six hours with the console open and running, and save the entire console output, putting a link to the output in this thread.
