Feels incredibly bad to play against characters like wizard even utilizing skip and epitaph

Hm, yeah. His mobility is intentionally bad, but he does have issues with some projectile users because he lacks a typical invulnerable roll, I feel. I plan to change his skip tele to have more projectile-immune frames.

40% extra damage seems a bit much, maybe lower the extra damage when KC is out as he is already easier to hit with such low mobility

When I go to revise him, I'll definitely be looking to revise his damage taken penalty.

While I love the anti-grab counter, an actual counter would be nice for other moves. When I think KC, I think a counter-heavy/warping playstyle. Don't even gotta make the counter do damage, but say if you counter a punch/magic missile/etc, then you warp behind the opponent in either neutral or advantage

Feels overall weak maybe tweak damage values? That extra damage penalty does not feel needed in addition to poor mobility when the stand is out.

maybe make it so if the stand takes a hit, the character at least takes a fraction of the damage, since it doesn't seem all that fair that the stand in complete idle, can make multiple moves completely invalid just by being there.

Reducing his damage taken penalty in a fair way is the primary goal of the next update.

I've actually considered this and gone back and forth, but ultimately I don't believe it matches the idea that only a stand user can harm stands. King Crimson is intended to be used as a shield in neutral against projectiles. He also severely reduces the hitlag of moves when you hit him during a combo, so he shouldn't impact melee moves all that much.

Perhaps you could make a variable where the Stands have a "stand hit box" that allows other stands to hit it? like a "can_hit_stand = true" or something. I don't know if that's how coding works, but I do feel like it should be given a shot.

his jump is too trash for having only 1 air option aswell is its so slow that if they DI upwards you literally cant converge off any move. Please PLEASE! give him a better jump so he can actually catch someone who DI's upwards, his mobility is TOO bad to be considered balanced. you can literally just straight up get camped by a wiz running away spamming projectiles and there is nothing you can do since they super jump and then their grab alone beats your whole air kit

I'm new to this game just beeen playing with some friends and since we all use modded characters and have fun, I wanted to kinda understand how you use this character, would it be okay if you put some basic guide? Because sometimes I have trouble figuring out how to fight with him (Also this is just a personal thing but maybe making it so desummoning KC doesn't take any frames or something of the like)

Also, desummoning is pretty fast, especially in combo,, sadly I can't make it faster or it ends up being very cheap for certain frame data reasons.
