Enjoyed modpack a lot, it is my first big modpack on kenshi so i faced some minor problems during playthrough. If possible can you help me out with it. First one is with crusaders armour, even tho I learned blueprints i still cant craft it, secondly is Thrasher mod, they just glitch all over the screen. Also i really want to know your opinion about iron will faction mod and maybe how to integrate it properly. Thank you for your time and for this wonderdful modpack.:steamthumbsup::drewhappy:

Can you show me the bugged armor? A screenshot would be nice for the armor and inventory screen (if possible) so I can see what to do about it.

You might need to refer to this mod page for how to craft the armor. I might need to double check it's craftable with the UWE various workshops, but it *should* be since it's linked to the bench and UWE just changed some specifics about those benches (if that makes sense lol). I see you did a comment there, so maybe it *is* an issue here (no one has said anything before 🤯)

I may possibly need to make a patch, which should be easy enough.

I've never tried it, but you could give it a shot and see! You have to be careful with new factions in UWE, since there's a lot of new bases and such. Try the mod out and see it's HQ location and such to see if it overlaps with anything.

It could possibly work if it doesn't have any major bugs lol, worst case scenario another patch is needed. :crusader_helmet:

Someone else asked me this recently, I'm not sure why it's not showing up. You might have to ask Kenshi Community Discord[discord.com] in the mean time until I return from traveling and such. :beeped:

The Modded Kenshi channel has a lot of active members who play with UWE/this collection. I wouldn't necessarily know what is causing it at the moment, but nothing really changes research in this collection besides UWE and some smaller specific changes (grouping research together to reduce cluttering).

I do wonder if there's an easy way to fix that that would make it flow more logically, or at least indicate it somehow that you need this buyable BP.

I'll quote the fix below for convenience:

With UWE, Tech Level 5 requires the 'Advanced Outposts' blueprint that is sold at Mechanical Shops. Do all the research needed so you can learn from that blueprint so the rest of the research tree and Tech Level 5 research appears at your menu.

Hi again, thank you for the feedback. I solved my problem with crusader armor mod, I placed blueprint in research table inventory and researched it from there. I never encountered that kind of blueprint that's why i assumed that I need to research it from character inventory at first. Sorry about that. I found few more graphical distortions around the map, mainly with new npcs. So I decided to reinstall everything it helped with other npcs but not with thrashers so i disabled that mod for now. Iron will faction hq collides with black desert ninjas hq so this mod is sadly not compatible. Can you also please check recent HD nude mode?


P.S.I have also switched back to vanilla for few days and realized how smooth it runs without mods (i have "gaming" laptop:steamsad:) do you have any advice for further optimization on vanilla? Thank you:drewhappy::steamthumbsup:

No problem, I think it's really entirely dependent on how Okay you are with Potato Mode lol, but you can turn down the various graphics settings (ideally, you'd probably want to also reduce the "Global Population" in the gameplay settings, as that is primarily what drags the optimization down with this list - I'd recommend no less than 0.50 Global Pop in order to ensure various town survivals). You can also install all the Main Page nexus listed mods (ie. PSO[www.nexusmods.com] and KPF[www.nexusmods.com]), as those are manual installs and require running scripts (install instructions on the nexus pages), which will overwrite the base game files with optimized versions of those files (mainly changing the file format to a better version).

You can also manually install UWE to your Kenshi/mods folder (you'd need to drag the UWE mod folder from Steam's Workshop folder, and then rename the folder to whatever the .mod is called in the original folder, if that makes sense lol) before running PSO/KPF so it also includes those files into optimization. :2017stickycrab:

For the nude mods, I may need to look into more recent versions although it's pretty limited in general. The Black Desert Ninjas / Iron Will HQ can be moved with the dev console, although I'd recommend definitely backing up your save and everything before playing around in Shift+F12 menu lol. It's relatively easy to move, you can check out This Tutorial for more info on generally what I'm talking about (it's a Dialogue Tutorial, but features a pretty good "building a town" part that is relevant to what we're talking about). It's actually easier to do this on *Your* side vs. trying to make a community patch, although I wouldn't mind doing it as well after I check out the mod lol.

Thanks for letting me know you were able to fix the blueprint issue as well, I probably wouldn't have figured that out without messing with it for awhile lol. I have a feeling it's a simple toggle setting in the FCS mod tools if I wanted to make a patch as well (ie. Click to Learn vs. the Manual Research you did).

There's quite a lot of changes, as well as general bug fixes and such. Feel free to read the Changelogs for more information!

Import Game is required after any large changes to this list.

Ope! Another sizable update. Maybe it's time for another kenshi play through. Kudo's to you igor! Very diligent of you to still be maintaining this mod list. Love to see it.

Haha no problem! Yeah unfortunately I don't play as much anymore and I'm working on various other projects, but I do still want to make it an enjoyable experience for other people :crusader_helmet::cactusrum::beeped:

This update does fix a couple of things, some from the Bug Tracker, and adds additional immersive gameplay elements. If you give it a try, let me know what you think! :2017stickycrab:

This collection does not work as of September, ran into issues where it says race packs are missing but that might be from the dodge mod, armor icons on starving bandits are white boxes with a red X, and skimmers do not have a model anymore, so there are just people fighting ghosts in the dessert since you can only tell its a skimmer is by clicking in the area they are attacking

Fix your load order. Everything your describing are issues that only happens when you don't use the provided load order.

Probably originated from this mod as last comment stated but who knows.
