Which ones are you getting errors for? The only one I personally knew about was the Hive Queen from Mogwai's Hive Overhaul mod, which recently got delisted from STEAM and is no longer on the list. Not many mods in this list add race models, the only one I can think of off the top of my head is UWE (other than animals, but those appear fine in my playthroughs). Tried not to make it too convoluted with additional races just for that reason lol

I unfortunatly ran into this issue as well, the races ive seen with no models in character creator are,
Shek: Kezok, dra'ak.
human : buglander,
hivers: all of midland hive. and praetorans for other hives,all of northern hive, all of mechanical hive,
Fishmen: some of the colorations are missing models
miist creatures are all broken as well

All of these are from UWE, you might have to check your load order / redownload UWE specifically. Here's a gallery of my character creation screen with some of the ones you mentioned (although I don't have buglander as a selection?)[imgur.com].

For reference, UWE adds around ~200 extra races (mostly variants of hives, such as northern/mechanical, etc.). It's very important to load it towards the bottom, make sure the load order is the same as here. If there's still an issue after redownloading UWE / checking load order, I'll have to look into it further.

It's possible for sure, due to the way the mod works. It has to be the very first mod in the load order, otherwise it can cause issues. This is reflected on the Load Order page. The Ultimate Animation Patch is very useful for this list, along with a few other utility mods listed on the home page description.

Unfortunately, sometimes when clicking "Subscribe to All" on Steam Collections, for whatever reason some files might not download correctly.

99% of the time, if you reinstall Universal Wasteland Expansion again, it should correct the issue.

downloaded this collection and was immediately met with this error and invisible models when making a character. looks like it's with custom races. is there a known fix for this? it's rather annoying

No problem, this is a semi-common issue when clicking "Subscribe to All" on Steam Collections (not just for Kenshi). Sometimes, for whatever reason, it doesn't fully download the super large mods on the list.

Essentially, you'll need to manually redownload Universal Wasteland Expansion, as Steam might've skipped over some files for that mod. You can just click Unsubscribe and then Subscribe to it again to make Steam redownload the files.

After redownloading, please make sure to follow the Load Order for this collection.

Thank you for letting me know!

With the latest version of this collection, that patch has been replaced entirely with the All-In-One patch by Anrhaa. Although that one is also still a WIP, as it's a pretty ambitious patch overall.

But you might have to exit steam and manually delete the "2142406806" folder in your "Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/233860/" folder (this will delete the UWE folder in particular). Then resubscribe to UWE and make sure it's sorted in the Load Order.

For me, the problem was with Mogwai's hive mod. Regardless of unsubbing/deleting/resubbing to UWE, or Mogwai's hive for that matter, I had at least 2 models not showing up, Queen being one of them. I ended up removing it (and its patch about no female hive workers) and since then I had no problems.
