Is there a way to mod so the general that lost the second battle in the same turn has a chance of escaping ?

when i say that i mean even if i played the second battle myself and the general did ESCAPE off map , but in game its still dead , i never understood the logic or realisim to that

i mean at least make it a slim chance (say 30% in field battle) and (10% in seige) that they alone escaped back into your court ?
