anyone know how to stop this black screening i’ll be playing through battles etc completely fine and running smooth then on the campaign screen i’ll access the politics tab or move an army and my screen goes black with just the cursor and background music playing

Part 3 It’s somewhat addressed in campaign maps like caser conquest of Gaul and Italian campaign where multiple cities and towns of what was missing on the grand campaign map and only a map of a certain limited area and missing out large areas of the know world at the time but it’s not on the grand campaign map. Once the city and town issue sorted then it’s just a simple job of using the mod to increase amount of unit cards in each legion without having to increase unit size itself. Some work needs to be done of tactics where can’t fall back in good order on battle map to draw an enemy in like the new manor lords seems to be able to do instead unit turning and going to new position you want where your going to take losses when back turn.

Part 2 There are mods for that which I’ve experienced and makes all the difference to the battle where each side I’ve changed from the standard 20 unit in a legion/ army to 75 units but the economic side can’t support that as with the limited amount of cities and towns your going to be struggling to support that amount of units in multiple legions. This mod does address the minor issues I had with the game but still the two major issues are lack of cities and towns on the grand campaign map. I know there a mod where shows extra cities and towns but its just for show and nothing else. To my understanding I think most Rome total war fans would like more cities and towns but it’s not happened due to from what I understand a coding issues where the amount of towns and cities in the campaign maps is set.

Part 1 For me when comes to the total war Rome series and in this case Rome 2 as well then main issues I have is that in each region such as for what we know as Italy today there are missing cities and towns where you just have to take over a town or city and then control a chunk of the map. With Rome 2 your tied to the number of buildings you can build which I’m not a fan of, but same time I do think the buildings that can be built such as grain storage are better than original Rome as you have to think about supplies/ logistics which I think should be more advance. There is also weather conditions which I like. There other main issue is the concept of recruiting a legion. Anyone that into Rome series knows how large a legion is. There are mod where can increase unit size where each can have 200 soldier as an example but this is not practical for manoeuvres on the battlefield. I think each legion until roaster should be able to have approx 70 units in a legion.

Hey there guys, I'm having a bit of an issue with this mode.
I took a look at some youtube videos of players playing massalia and I noticed they have acess to units that i don't have.

For example, the hellenic outpost should give me acess to units like thureophoroi/thureophoroi euzonoi, but when I try to hire them, they just don't appear in my unit roster.

Is this and issue you guys have? Or I'm I missing something?

On which language is this Game Mod playable? Just English? Becuz German language for this game would be fire

Why is there a unit limit cap of 6 for the Cohors Sagittarorum Civium Romanorum (Reformed) unit? They are the only archers rome has and I can only recruit 6. Is there a way to change this? Love the mod can't play Rome 2 without it anymore. Thanks for all the hard work.

Hi, playing as Rome, i was wondering if the pros and cons of the influence I have over the senate change if I switch from republic to empire or kingdom. As it stands now, the best seems to be the fifth slot, which would be rather awkward to hold.

I want to re-install all DEI files. I have added it via STEAM, cancelled it and reactivated the mods then again. But somewhow I am not sure if its really re-installed - is there any way to get definitely rid of all old DEI files and then re-install it again?
I want to experience the best DEI quality and therefore to re-install it from scratch!

I tried to play with the BETA grand campaign submod and it crashed directly at game start - so I want to do it all from the beginning.

It would be no problem to delete alle ROME 2 files in general and install it again from scratch, too.

So it's currently not working right? I have all 3 parts yet Vanilla is not overhauled.

With just these 3 parts installed the game crashes - CTD or BSOD.

Even with only Parts 1 to 3 installed, it crashes on startup and the launcher always warns me it's out of date. And I have no idea why.

DEI not updated yet

The game is updated , and can still run on the current patch. Also, Caesar!, the AOR for Masaeyli at the start of the game only has 3 units. This is because factions do not recruit from their own pool , they have to recruit individual units from provinces. Each province has unique recruitment options. So, you have to expand to different regions, like Africa or Garmantia to have access to more troops. Also, try checking the building tree. Maybe that will get you more units, but otherwise, you have to try and take a settlement in another province.

How do i get more units for Masaesyli? this mod stripped them down to bare bones trash units.
