Units size - few questions
Hello there. I have few questions regarding the units size. Everybody says that DEI mod is made for extreme units size...what does it mean? What happens when we change it? Is there something special that armies do when its set to extreme? Is there anything they lose when its set lower?

Is it possible so change the units size during the game? I started the game with exreme but now i see that its to much for my pc especially in the late game where sometimes I fight battles like 2 armies against 2 or ever 3 armies :( I changed it in options but it the size is still extreme.

I would be very grateful for clarifying this to me :)

once you star a campaign, the unit size wont alter. you have to restart to see the unit size change.

I believe you can but it will only effect new units you recruit. All previous armies will have previous unit sizes until new units are recruited, effects AI the same way.

So you would have to disband old units and recruit new ones to get the changed sizes on a running campaign.

ive been trying to double unit size so my dei legionaries are units of 480 for historical accuracy, i can only get a 3x mod to work for vanilla though does anyone know how i can get from units of 240 legionaries to the 480 i want? thanks

I would say try 41 units army and the Alternate Unit Size submod https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=542623120
The 41 units makes the AI actually fight properly anyway.

i cant remember if ive tried this specific one you linked but ive already got a 41 unit army mod, thanks though, i just need to do more messing with pack file manager and mod the unit size myself (harder then it sounds)
