Coaxial Weapons ... What to say about it..
I agree with the concept that Coaxial weapons are extremely useful and powerful when combined with other weapons. However, and this is the opinion of my entire gaming group, this Coaxial weapon system is very poorly used by AI-controlled ships. Not only do we find that the AI tends not to “fight” optimally, but it also fails to use coaxial weapons.

For example, I use a few UNSC ships equipped with Coaxial weapons to inflict heavy damage at the front, but the AI is unable to use these weapons. It spins around, doesn't fire all the time, and seems to not know what to do. I suspect this is a problem with the AI itself and not with the mod.

As a result, I find that Coaxial weapons are useless in games where players have a strong fleet. I also think there are WAY too many Coaxial weapons dropping in the game.

was just about to make this post. found some cool coaxial weapons and outfitted my fleet only to watch them not use them or know how to. the TAO overhaul did a really good job at fixing this but the author stopped modding
