That's what makes the airborn strain scary; its like a surprise punch in the gut, its cold how automatic and drastic the state of the infection changes once its airborn like flipping a switch that escalates the situation and ♥♥♥♥♥ humanity hard and fast. It turns the lore into a government cover up that's only affecting the US to an extinction level event where the human race is doomed.
There's no defense against it or even place to focus the fight on or a safe zone to retreat to, the people who are unlucky enough to be immune are forced to accept humanities doom as the immune are now stranded and stuck on their island / homes as an ocean of undead surrounds them overnight. The airborn strain makes zomboid more lonely and depressing imo
zomboid lore stands out because of the world loading screen telling you to your face "these are the end times. there is no hope for humanity. this is how you died." which is direct af, as long as you keep true to that you're can't disappoint, again i do like the stuff your mod added, its a change of pace from the default tv channels which iv seen so many times
However the continued broadcast from Triple N is hard to catch. A lot of effort went to this I'm sure, at least let us appreciate the added lore by listening in :D
