I do like how you chose to allow jackie to live. she never was confirmed dead, we just assume it because of franks death. but her being baracaded in some tower or nearby building would make sense. also it would be cool If maybe you made it so ham radios could pick up QZ news. Maybe it could be about life in the qz, which cities got protected, and maybe we could even get some insight on how jackie is doing. Maybe she could brodcast from some nearby city like Dayton OH, Akron OH, Columbus OH, Lexington KY, Frankfort KY, Evansville KY, Nashville TN, Memphis TN, Knoxville TN, or even ST. Louis MO. Personally I hope that she made it to the Akron QZ bc if she did that means my mom in this universe could have survived.

And if you want them to last for even longer, 141 is the maximum you can set the scheduler duration to while still keeping it accurate.

The same also applies to military and raider events among others, as you'll have a higher chance of witnessing the progression and variations in those events (though I would still recommend turning up the frequency for military events especially as it has a lot of progression and variations).

Pro tip: Set your Expanded Helicopter Events scheduler duration to 135 instead of 90. By default, according to their start and cutoff day factors, police and news helicopters will start appearing on day 5 (not counting day 0) when the exclusion zone breaks down. Setting the scheduler duration to 135 will make them start appearing on day 8, which is more accurate to the lore of this mod as the exclusion zone doesn't break down until then. This will also make the helicopter events last for longer. Police and News helicopter events will be scheduled for 21 days after they start, when normally they would be gone after 13. This means they will be less at the mercy of RNG during the limited window of time they have to appear.

This only works in SP. I hope the mod's description makes mention of that sometime in the future, so people like me, who likes to play MP with friends, don't waste time restarting servers.
Works flawlessly in SP though. props to the mod's author. The radio channels are well built and written, and it seems that the mod's author spent a lot of time creating this mod.

There are survivors who communicate through one of the stations a few weeks in, I don't remember when exactly and with what radio station, just something you'll have to find (: As for the lightfooted sock thing, it was supposed to give you tailoring, but the software I used to make the mod is super old and outdated, and didn't have a working tailoring or maintenance system, so I had to use other skills in their place. (I didn't know this till after I made the mod and I didn't want to go through the long and tedious task of adding a brand new show to replace fixin' it, especially after I spent many hours looking for things to include in the fixin' it program)

id love one channel thats just like, one grizzled vet survivor who has a few (maybe 2 or 3 lines) each day for the first entire year of gameplay. and its just various tales of what he or his group of survivors have been getting up to so ppl dont feel so alone out there. but its a collection of community stories of ppls games. could be weekend news updates of other survivor groups who had died this week, and its community stories of how our good or epic runs came to a horrible end :p

Ah, didn't know. Unfortunately having a mumbling tick box is beyond my modding capabilities

I forgot to mention, I did try out right deleting the "sounds_RadioTalkOverride.txt" but once I started up the server, it gave me an error saying it was missing that file.

I'm guessing I would have to disable "LuaChecksum" on the server, but that opens up a possibly different can of problems in the future if I did, I really rather not have to do that.

Could you possibility make the "Lowered\Removed TV mumbling" optional? Maybe as a server\mod tick-box?

The problem is, this mod essentially mutes any other mods that modifies the basegame "mumbling" such as Anime TV and Cartoon TV

If it's not to much work to do, I would greatly appreciate it, since I would really like to use this mod in conjunction with the other mods without having them outright muted.

Yes, the mumbles are removed using a file in the scripts folder, just delete that file and they should come back, no coding necessary. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and if you didn't notice, I slipped some Romero Dawn of the Dead references in there :)

As with other folks, i've been using this mod since you released it and can confidently say I absolutely love it. Having lore to catch on your off time really livens the world. It would be amazing to see this continued out even further. Have some Romero's Dawn of the Dead TV scenes months into the apocalypse were the broadcasters have given up hope and are just shooting random theories while drunk on the air.

Also, is there a way to add the mumbles back in from TV and the radio? I actually love them and sorely miss it. IDK if it would just be a line of code I could add into a file?

tried adding radio stations i found on a radio to another radio cannot do it due to the frequencies having extra numbers at the frequency for example crazy hits fm has .431 at the end of it and i cant manually put that on a radio

Been using this for a few weeks now and I see no reason not to use it permanently (I always use EHE as well) - This is a very nice mod that adds loads more flavour to the PZ Pizza!

I'll start up another server later and see what happens. Might be worth looking at Survivor Radio's methods of making it work as well since it was able to work in MP, albeit with a ton of errors.
