The long and short of it is that the 2e adventures aren't scripted at all, and any implementation that I did would need to either generate entirely new path/adventure/scenario cards, or accept that 2e has a lot less scripting. So far my work on this compilation hasn't touched that scripting at all, and I'm not sure how much work would be involved with developing those assets to the same standard as 1e.
Now on a more positive light, zigzagzen did put together some excellent 2e mods that present that system about as well as it can be done. They have the cards, characters, and campaign books that are needed to play. Everything is laid out pretty well, there's all the assets needed to play, and the card scripting works properly even if the locations mostly need to be set up manually. There's a vault development system and a wide variety of tools available, and they seem to be quite good mods.

So at this point, I'm sort of at a crossroads. I could certainly take what assets I can find and throw them into a special resource bag in this mod with a note indicating that it has limited scripting. That would be easy to do, and folks who wanted to play PACG 2e could certainly make it work. But I don't think that it would be a better experience than the ones already provided by other modders.
On the other hand, I or someone else could develop all the scripting for 2e and incorporate it into this mod like I have for the 1e content. That would be a lot of work, and probably the first thing I'd need to do is play a fair amount of 2e because otherwise I wouldn't know how to implement it properly. So if I pursue this path, the 2e content might not be added for quite a while, if at all.
Anyway, those are my current thoughts on 2e. I clearly remain a bit ambivalent. I feel like I've brought together 1e to a good standard, but I'm not sure that I'm going to be able to do that for 2e without dedicating a fair amount of time to do it. At some point I'll want to play through it, either on TTS or in person, and perhaps that will give me more insight into how to develop the concept more. Perhaps other folks have ideas on how best to approach the issue, and I'd welcome their input.
