First of all, learn the spell and check if you have enough mastery to cast it. If all is good then you should try to take magic staff in your hands and cast the spell. Good luck :)

yeah u have to use an item to cast spells no bare hands

How far are you in game?

First staff can be found in 5 minutes, it is just in one of rooms.

their is maybe a problem in my mind in this case i have bring 4 power gem and i have find 0 staff
but two tool for cast specific spell underwater.

how about the ranger he can cast Nature spells but don't know how? orb or wand he can't use how can he cast spells?

There is staff in room with mummy in first dungeon that you see when you start.

Also another staff in water (a bit later) in South-East corner of Gladus Domini, second area.
