First of all, thank you @hoobsbug for this wonderful Addon.

I’m encountering an issue with saving my NPCs. When I save a preset, there’s no entry in the map preset list. I tried creating an NPC, and it saved on the map and retained its position when moved. However, any other NPCs I create are deleted after I disconnect for 5 minutes.

What should I do to resolve this? I saved the data.txt file and made a backup, but this isn’t an ideal method since I can only back it up while on the server, and the NPCs get deleted again after disconnecting.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm having the same issue, yet I have no idea what is going on.

Same for me, I lost a whole night of setting up a game for friends over this issue and I've got no alternatives to this mod. Sucks because this addon is probably the coolest out there in my opinion, it would open so many doors. I tried to look at the script but I can't figure out anything...

For me the problem looks this way: I changed the default model to another one, changed the name, I wrote a decent amount of dialogue and i made prototype of for a quest.

I saved and reloaded and the character model is back to default, the default lines of dialogue are overwritten over my dialogue and so most and sometimes all my dialogue is gone, I think the name remained the modified name but another time It switched back to default... The only thing that stays is the positioning and sometimes part of my dialogue...

The only real way of saving them if you have these problems is by making a save just like the other guy under this discussion mentioned it will reset the character model back to default and also add the default text over your existing ones but if your progress is just disapearing after 5 mins of getting off then i dont see a better way unless if you are willing to wait for a uptate for this mod and also prolly wont ever come or just wait for a similar mod like this one to come out witch also probably is gona take a long time to come out any time soon, so yeah thats all i got to say.
