Maybe one day, if we havent already, we can mod more stuff, like adding more variables like economic mode of production for nations, too.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my mod. I originally wanted the Scandinavian countries to score between 3 and 4 labelled as "Social Democracy" but due to mechanical limitations I can only have five categories. I agree with you that the Scandinavian countries are definitely in the capitalist mode of production and would have been happier to put them in a low Welfare-Liberalism rating rather than the high Socialism rating they have now. I made the decision to put them where they are now simply for demonstrative purposes and intend to put them where they belong in a later update.
Thanks for looking. I've also changed where all countries are on the democracy scale based on how I reworded it. Iran now has a score of 5.xx, which rates it as a Welfare-Liberalism country. Am I entirely happy with this? Not really since I can only have 5 categories like I mentioned to Vala. Ideally I'd put Iran in a "State-Interventionism"/"Keynesianism" rating that goes between Welfare Liberalism and Neoliberalism.
You might notice that countries like Russia and many in Africa have gone from having scores below 3 to having scores ranging from 6 to 7. Frankly, much of the world is neoliberal but since I don't know how to adjust the game mechanics, this represents a buff for a lot of countries at the game start.
Man that sucks, shame to hear
sorry nothing useful to have tested yet; but iam glad i got a "ping" notification to remind me about this project too. Keep posted, intriguing takes
