RULES:

- No direct interactions with preexisting canonical characters/factions (except MERC. country boys can survive)

- References to fan-made content will be strictly curated, but aren't out of the question

- The Frackin' Universe patch already exists, but you can recommend tweaks and features

- Read what other people said before writing; I hate it when fifty people all say the same thing

- NO SEGGS >:( Learn to code/sprite and make that yourself if it's that "important"

Ooh, suggestion time!

1. A.T.P. Engineer and A.T.P. Soldat sets. Would be nice to equip them to my crew, even if they are just cosmetic sets (because, personally I would have no idea where to place them in terms of progression). Speaking of crew...

2. NPC Grunts look kind of goofy because their colors and cosmetics are all over the place. They could use much more uniformity, because the walking grey beans splattered with random colors like a unicorn vomited on them don't really scream "this is a Grunt from Madness Combat!" to me.

I also forgot to include this in my last comment, but an apron set would also be nice, so I can give it to my crew's janitors.

The Laborer set is technically an armored apron, but I'll add an unarmored and stain-able version to the list of rags

Just had another idea occur to me, Madness-themed posters could be a great addition, and there's a ton of posters throughout the series that could be used. Wanted posters for Hank, advertisements for the A.A.H.W., reminders to clean your gun, look out for dissenters, question nothing, y'know.

Already on the list! Only image-based ones, though - for the text to be legible, they'd have to be huge, and a whole separate asset would be needed to translate them

Alternatively, you could just make some squiggly lines to mimic legibile text, and just have it so that scanning the object will read what the text is supposed to say.

Some suggestions, hope they aren't too hard
Armor/cosmetic:
1. Some N51 armor sets would be neat, mostly head armor stands out as a nice light "tacticool" cosmetic;
2. Sheriff's blast armor from the first phase of his fight, since it fits a role of "bulky heavy armor", which is uncommon in Starbound
3. Phobos's armor (and his big cape/cloak) are just too stylish to pass.
4. Go3lm armor, once again: bulky
Weapons:
1. Dissonance weapons for late game, I believe enemy seaking projectile code is already in game, so that should be easy to implement.
2. Laser guns, since there aren't too many weapons which are actual laser instead of a glowing bullet or a continuos beam (Should be possible by using the beam code from Aegisalt pistol, reducing it's lifetime and width)

Those're all on the "somewhat distant future" plan, but will be done before I look into planetary matters. I'll do them after NPCs, food, and furnishing, but before custom weapons and encounters, ya get?

Im sure you have heard it before but id love to see some soldat sets my oc is a soldat
love this mod it would be great if it could be compatible with more hurt sound effects its a new mod that adds up to 4 diff possible hurt noises for each race you could rip more madness sounds some more madness guns would be nice also def some new pants i feel like we are lacking in terms of clothing and armor as a whole, maybe an option to have the cross on their heads be more visible? its quite faded but i love this mod i refuse to play without it heres hoping you still working on it

I've already got both ATP sets just about finished, and have already devised a "toon" palette that'll have the most visible face. :mpn_engi: :SBmm:
Version 1.1 is well underway, and will have a modest amount of clothes, furniture, customization, and fixes. It's still far from ready, because legwear has no less than FORTY frames to draw per item :mpn_abom:

As I stated in the rules, *please* read the other comments before considering what to write, as then you would know what's already on the to-do list (including the fact that Soldat drip was literally the first thing anyone asked for)

2: Tier 6 is themed around antagonists to match Tier 5's protagonist set, and the Nexus Core is canonically out of commission
3: B R U H, they've had Race Traits stats since day one; Grunts have been speedy glass cannons for two years already

can we get a Eye option's to recreate character's like Gabrial Barsch, RavenTheLemon, PromPiriya BoonRat, TodPon, Velour, Haign/Acidsama, and Salterino's Liz?

some more hairstyles (or head gears?) based off of them? (and also from modded human plus Glitch hairstyles like Cutebound, Arcana's hairstyle's, Firebound hair, AnTiHair, Cyberpunk Stylist, Patchwork haircut, LitLad/LitGal hairstyles and so on...)

Also some more race interactions such as-
Avali, Elithian Races, Arcana, Mapen32, NostOS, De'nelaun, Inkbound, Ashspeakers' The House of Peace, Nebulac, Saturian's, False harpy, Scyphojel, Lastree, Indix, Kitsune, Orcana, Vash'Knaaren, Lamia, Slime, Arachne, Cosmic Fenerox (idk if you have already done the base fenerox ^^;;)
