its bright and it changes your muzle flash and trace of the bullet making the person with this spell easier to kill

all the particles (muzzle/tracers) are near identical size, with the colours being a darker shade of purple/pink opposed to the lighter white/yellow so I don't think that's entirely true by any metric

There are two different scout cosmetics that make louder-than-normal noises whenever you move, I don't think cosmetics with a disadvantage area really that big of a problem.
It's when they give a tactical advantage where we start having problems.

It would be kinda neat, if it changed the sound slightly, then it would be almost like a pack-a-punch upgrade effect!
