thanks for the kind words and for letting me know about the issue.
It may be a bug, but I have nothing to do with it, at least on scheme level. On the whole mod level, I can initiate the stealing process, but I haven't touched the mechanism itself in any way.
It looks a bit like someone has stolen the Necronomicon in the meantime and the game still ties it to the previous owner.
You must look for a new owner and try to get the book from him.
This may be some special case not foreseen by paradox (or by me), or indeed some collision with another mod. But I don't know what I could do about it. Maybe one of the next patches will fix the problem.
