I think that same-religion vassals should not have an offensive war opinion modifier when you're the historic character in question. Reason being is the invaders here often conquered a huge amount of land in a short amount of time, and trying to invade quickly and decisively gets you despised by your vassals, unless your religion is found of conquering.
I think granting a modifier like 'plot armor' that somehow makes it so that same religion vassals don't have a negative opinion of you for offensive wars would be helpful and better the experience of playing as a historic character and conquering.
I do plan to! But before I do that, I want to explore how and if I could add the 4th crusade to the game.
The northern crusades were actually one of the reasons I made this mod! I would like to experiment with landless invaders and the Teuronic and Livonian Orders would be a good opportunity to do just that.
I'm first going to finish up in Africa before I touch those.
But Normans invading Sicily and their expansion into the surrounding areas is something I want to look into.
I plan to, but I'd rather add it in after the 4th Crusade - and I am not sure how I want to tackle that one.
